 (9) DR. EDWARD THOMAS LYNAH

 born 1805, Charleston, S. C. Baptized 1816
 died 1862, Warrenton, Ga.

He married Adeline Fickling, the neice of his stepmother. She was born in 1817 in Beaufort and died at Warrenton, Ga. in 1869.

Dr. Tom, as this Edward was called, also claims to have received his medical degree in Dublin, Ireland.(1) He was, nevertheless, a practicing physician in Warren County and Warrenton, Georgia. He is buried in the Old Methodist Cemetary. Their home was on Federal Road (Warrenton to Mayfield, Ga.) purchased in 1847. In 1853 he deeded property 645 acres and slaves to his wife and children for love and affection.
