There has been no attempt in the following resume' of families who married into, or whose descendents married into, the Lynah family to cover all families.

However, many of these families are noteworthy and of historical interest. They played an important part in the development of the colonies and our country and their relationship to the Lynah family, is in many instances, significiant.
